Sunshine

It's been a long time coming but we've had some lovely weather this week and lots of sunshine! It's great to have the windows open, everything smells so great. We're finally getting plenty of leaves on the trees and I've been working on this this week..

    I know, doesn't it make you appreciate a bit of warmth! Love this illustration, the detail of the bird and texture of the bark..beautiful.

      Thanks so much! It's interesting it reminds you of that period; I did have in mind a 19th century naturalist's sketchbook sort of feel when I drew it. I'm planning on making it part of a fabric pattern in that style too :)
